maryland crime

I am a bailbondsman located in the state of Maryland. Crime in this state is now out of control, we are a state where the murder rate in the city of Baltimore stands at 245 for the current year.

Why is the crime rate so high in this state, is that there are more criminals or does the responsibility lie with the judicial system. We have a system where 90% of the crime is commited by 1% of the population. Repeat criminals are our major problem, now I am not complaining because they make me a comfortable income. But the crime has to stop.

In this blog I will post some of the stupid crime that people do. Over 17 years I have always said that I have seen it all, and then another preson does something that suprises me. What i have learned over the years is that drugs and alcohol is a major factor in most crimes.

Here is the story of one of my clients' this client has since passed away from a drug overdose.
Glen was a favorite client of mine, in fact I bailed him out 8 times in a month. Glen had a very wealthly grandmother who did not want to see her favorite grandson go to jail, so she paid whatever it took to keep him out of jail.

On one incident over the Thanksgiving holiday Glen started drinking very heavy, after very many drinks Glen decided it would be a good idea to start fighting with his sister (she is many other stories) when that fought is was not you usual fight, fist were flying, feet were kicking and the Thanksgiving Day celebration was on. As the police arrived and took them both to jail, i got the phone call to get them out of jail. When I met them at the courthouse I think there was more food on them then there was in there stomach. how does a person fight like that on Thanksgiving? After his arrest and a $10,000 bail Glen was back with his family in time fir the morning breakfast.

Over the years I think I bailed Glen out of jail about 100 times and never did he do a day in jail. NEVER not 1 day.
